Our client, a leading supplier of food flavors, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Regulatory Specialist to join their dynamic food ingredient supplier team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer inquiries and orders via phone and email.
- Provide accurate information regarding product documentation, pricing, and order processing.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain organized and accurate regulatory documentation, labeling, and client records in the database.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and quality assurance teams to meet customer needs.
- Apply familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, USDA) to ensure compliance in documentation and labeling processes.
- Utilize tools to maintain organized records, track regulatory documentation, and manage CVA (Change Validation Approvals) processes.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a business degree is a plus.
- Experience in customer service, food regulatory compliance, or a similar field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent numerical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and resolve problems effectively.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Word, Excel, PDFs, email systems, and database tools.
